How are they idiotic? You should point out to them when they are being really immature (if thats what you mean by idiotic). Please don't try ignoring them, cuz that just makes you the b*tch on campus. If you handle the problem rather than ignoring it, it will eventually rid of itself. If that doesn't work, go with the straight foward approach:
"Hey, I don't wanna hang with you guys anymore. You're too immature. I tried to tell you before, but you refused to listen!"

Just be honest with them, maybe they'll leave you alone or mature. Or you can just annoy them more than they annoy you. Or you can stop hanging out with them and stop returning their phone calls. Sooner or later they will get the hint. But be patient because idiotic friends are hard to get rid of.

Oh my gosh, I'm in the same situation. Here's how I"m taking care of it:
Whenever they wanna hang out, I tell them I'm busy or I have other plans with FAMILY (always mention family). Just keep blowing them off...basically, whenever they are in contact with you, you are busy. If they're on the phone with you, tell 'em you got a beep and you have to go. Or if it's a cell phone, tell them your battery is dying or you can't waste any more minutes. Just continue to avoid them and they'll be off you're back. Trust me. Hope I helped. Oh and if they're stupid, try talking really intellectual. =)

it's very hard to bore them to death. if you try to tell them directly, they just think you're in a bad mood. If you ignore them, they get mad at you but they don't go away. i guess that's why they're called idiots. I've been experimenting with drowning them in the sink, but it's amazing how long they can hold their breath...

just ignore them for a while or be innocent mean! its like when you are sayin normal things only with an additude then they will ask you whats ur prob? and all that..but be like nothing im just tense..and a while after they will definitly go away in a month or so..lol not that i did that! ;-)

Stop calling them or recieving calls from them. Don't go to any place they hang out at and if they approuch you, walk away. Make new friends and be seen with them !!!

aww thats mean. calm down and try to keep your distance. they`ll get the picture but... still it always makes them feel like crap when you do that so i recommend not to... good luck with this!
