Just because someone doesn't like your answer, & then have the bad taste to violate your "private" e-mail? Thats why I'm not answering anymore questions, but can ask 15. Anyone want points?

I don't much understand how "report abuse" is handled at yahoo. I do know that they deleted my question "Does anyone live in ANchorage, Alaska?" within three minutes. I have reported someone that continually asks disgusting questions "Should I f... my sister? etc. and although I havent checked today, he was still on. And. yes it bothered me that someone would report abuse for my particular question. How do they get your private e-mail? I think there is a place on Q&A rules where you can block anyone from e-mailing you, even tho it does go thru YAHOo anyway. Don't let other people bum you out, its Saturday night, have some fun!

I'm not sure what you mean by "violate" your private e-mail, but even if someone reports you, it doesn't mean that Yahoo! is going to act on it. When reporting, a user must choose the "type" of abuse, and then I'm sure Yahoo! must read the content, to make sure that indeed you are, or are not, in violation of the community guidelines. If you give an offensive or rude answer, chances are you will get reported. And rightfully so. Try answering with nice, honest answers, and you shouldn't get reported.

If your answer doesn't actually violate any of the guidlines then don't worry about it. I have been reported about 15 times and none of them had any merit. Even that b i t c h Marilyn Vos Savant reported me when I had the gall to question if her question was really asked by her and not some imposter. I guess she assumes that everyone on the earth knows all about her.

Reporting is for people who feel they are doing a "service" to Yahoo by acting like the internet police.
