I'm 17 and I'm still a virgin. There's nothing wrong with waiting if you don't feel like it's right for you. But there is no age. . .you'll just know when it'll feel right. You see now I feel like I might possibly be ready but I know that the age of consent for sex in my state is 18 and that my boyfriend is already an adult so it's illegal for us to have sex. Besides I'm not sure I'd be ready to accept the consequences if they should happen. .like being a teen mommy. This is why I'm still waiting and my BF is a virgin and he's perfectly ok with waiting until we're married if that's what I think is best. Make sure when you get a boyfriend and you start thinking that having sex is right for you that you educate yourself FULLY on the consequences, the laws, your body, his body, and types of protection. Those silly classes they teach in school barely scratch the surface. Use your resources like older friends, family, and the Internet and of course the best source you Dr. But beware of those who might trick you. Good Luck!

I was 14. Because I was so young I was much more free about experimenting and now that I’m 31 I’ve pretty much done everything out there that there is to do. Well, excluding REALLY bad stuff like children and animals. Yuck and no, no, no. But anyway when I was young my mom said it made her sad that I was having sex so young because it makes one’s life much more “complicated”. And it does, though I of course didn’t believe her at the time. But what teenager does. Bottom line is that I’m glad I experimented a lot and got it out of my system, and WOW do I know a lot of stuff now. Some of that stuff I did along the way made me feel “cheep” and has indeed made my life more complicated… I’m glad I know what I know, but I’m kind of sorry I wasn’t able to hold onto my innocence longer. Life was much simpler back before sex. You’ll have your whole life to have sex, just make sure you’re ready to start down a path there’s no turning back from.

Well 4 Me i was 19 went i lost it but my best advise to u is dont worry about age just make that decision when u r ready. u Know what u want and i would say go 4 it when u r ready 4 all the good things and bad that come with having sex and dont let a guy talk u into it its your choice.

You are going to do what you want. . . you state that. I am going to ask you one question tho. . .
How will you explain to your future husband that you gave away the one thing he was entitled too (that only you could give him on your marriage night) and be a Christian as well?
I was 19 and not a Christian, became one at age 20 got married at 27 w/o having sex until then and married a virgin who was 24. We have been married 29 years.
Was it worth it to wait? Yes

I'm 14 and I haven't lost mine yet. I'm also Christian and all that jazz and I totally agree with you... Sorta, but I think I'm waiting at least until I am in maybe my last year of college. Or my 3rd year at least. But if you use protection... I guess I may do it at the begining of college... Maybe... Depends on if I have a b/f even half as awesome as the one I do now. Who knows, maybe I'll still have the same one...

I was 18 and got pregnant two weeks later. Just make sure that whatever the age you choose to loose it at, that the man you give it too is a man you'd be happy to have children with. (good job, responsible, not a drug adict with a temper...) Lol...
