Alott of People say its Kobe...But i think its shaq..Cuz he was just not happy Kobe was getting all the media attention and kobe was the one that was on all the magazine covers...Plus Kobe wasnt the only superstar guard shaq had trouble with..Penny Hardaway with the Magic...I think thatD-Wade and Shaq get alon because d-wade look like a nice calm fella..he is quiet..but everyone know if it wasnt for D-wade shaq wouldnt even have smelled his 4th ring..

i think the breakup was very similar to the breakup of the bulls dynasty. One Player decides to go Michael Jordan/Shaq, then it triggers the departure of the coach (which coincidently happened to be Phil Jackson both times) and the rest of the squad, especially the veterans. The loss of the NBA finals for the lakers was devastating for the entire franchise. Had they won the Finals that year Shaq and Kobe would still be playing together with no problems in my opinion. D-ro-Wade would just be coming into the spotlight and emerging as a star.

but so did kobe
and the injury 2 malone in the playoffs didnt help much
plus robert horry left
and the list goes on and on
but the man u must blame is the great jerry west
if he was still the gm then the lakers would still hav shaq and kobe and prob 3 more titles
