What are some scorpio traits?

As a Scorpio many of my friends say I don't act like one.Beacuse I am not angry, dark vengeful and unforgiving. They don't know that they are only thinking about one part of the sign. So I need some help with coming up with some other fine attributes of my oh so cool sign.

#1 Scorpio trait is LOYALTY. No one can be a more loyal or true friend or lover than a Scorp. Someone said Scorps are sneaky and nosy. Not true at all. Just because we don't explain the reason for getting all the information we can, or paying back certain persons who did something wrong to us does not mean we are sneaky. We will wait for years to pay someone back. It is a carry over from past life Libra influences...the scales must balance or we can't stand it. Sexuality? I know I WILL NOT have sex unless it is with someone I love. Women Scorps can be celibate for years, rather than settle for just anyone. Every man I have made love with said I was the best they had been with, and I was not doing anything except being myself. Some men Scorps can be very promiscuous, uncaring, cold people. As Scorps get older, we actually get used to people fearing us. To us, we are normal people who just have never ending emotional drama as a day-to-day event. It does get tiring sometimes. I would not trade being a Scorp for anything, but I would not recommend it, either. It is not easy being a Scorp. I've been one for 53 years. Generally, if a Scorp gives you his/her word, they will die before they break it. Also, do the words stubborn or hard headed ring a bell? We can't help it, we were born that way, but you will still never find a better friend than us, but if you do something very wrong intentionally to us or ours, you WILL be cut off, immediately, no going back, EVER. There is also a trait all Scorps have that I think everyone hates, the ability to totally ignore another person's existance. I have done that to people, and it makes them very uncomfortable, like they are totally invisible. They shouldn't have done whatever it was that caused them to become invisible in the first place! Yes, Scorps can be very hard assed people, more hard on themselves than anyone else. Sometimes I laugh at myself and my Scorp life. Can I tone down the emotions just a little bit? Drives people crazy, but if you are around people you have known for a long time, they actually get used to it and depend on these volcanic displays of emotions to assure them the Scorp is still there by their side, protecting and defending them. Some of my friends have looked at me with such total questioning in their eyes, like "how can you keep this up all the time?" To me, it is just normal.

Oh man, I am so sick of this Scorpio bashing! You MUST
check someone's moon and rising signs because it plays a huge part in how each sign behaves, percieves others and percieves themselves. It helps you understand so much more. You have to have the time of birth.

Scorpio's are very loyal and trustworthy. They are very intuitive and caring. They are also extremely honest so they say what they mean and mean what they say. And they expect the same in return. If someone takes advantage or betrays their trust obviously we get hurt like anyone else. The difference is that we are more likely to call people out, want to resolve things, to understand or have closure. We think pretending not to be mad/hurt/feel is a waste of time and energy and are not afraid of confrontation. Most people avoid/fear confrontation believing it is always negative. Scorpio's believe not all confrontation is bad and can actually be positive. Scorpio's are very sensitive and value friendship, family and commitments. We have very deep relationships with a handful of people that are close to us. We are more likely to have 3 very good friends than 8 casual friends. We believe that "small talk" is a waste of time and energy. Scorpio's are very interested in people and want to know the "real" person and not the facade, which may make people uncomfortable.

Scorpio is the only sign I know where so much emphasis is put on their negative personality traits. People have screwed me over plenty of times and I do remember, but as a defense mechanism. Scorpio's may talk about "revenge" as they have great imaginations, but rarely act on them. They are no more likely to carry them out than any other sign. Not all Scorpio's are great at sex, but tend to be very sexy.

Well, I'm a Libra born on the cusp of Scorpio so I know a little from personal experience. But, to make my advice a bit better, I am married to a Scorpio man and my favorite aunt who practically raised me is a Scorpio as well.

So, here are the good parts of Scorpio as I have come to believe

Both sexes are very smart, quick-minded, careful when speaking, and generally good-hearted (notice I said generally). If they love you, you will never worry about anyone crossing you. They are excellent providers (I think they are more so than Capricorn's who are revelled by astrologers as being the best provider's in the zodiac). Also, they are very attractive to the opposite sex. There's just something about them.

Women Scorpio's that I know are, persistant, strong, and tend to nag/lecture to get their point across.

Bad sides of both sexes: Nosy, DON'T piss them off because they WILL get you back, they are the slickest, sneakiest of all people in the world and all have some strong sense of psychic ability (whether they realize it or not). Both are strict parents. They don't put up with any non-sense. Also, they will drop your *** in a heartbeat (in a relationship). They are quick to leave and they know that it may hurt them for a minute, but not for long. As I mentioned above, they are very attractive to the opposite sex! So, anyone who is a jealous person should not date a Scorpio.
