Plant big trees or plants so that they have plenty of shade and don't burn in the sun, install a cave, so that they can hide from your neighbors, and run an extension cord outside and connect it to a Mr. Coffee.

I assume the fence you already have is a privacy fence. Pick a small location in the yard, at least 12x12, and fence it in again. You could use another privacy fence, or with patience a trellis fence with a climbing vine. Perhaps bamboo, would work if it grows in your climate. Does your neighbor have a two story house overlooking your yard? Stretch a tarp over the new fence with a center pole holding the middle.
