No sunshine, when you're dead, you're body is depleted of all the physical functioning that it ever did.
It was just for us to be in. Like a hermet crab has a shell. Only we keep ours untill it just gives out ...or untill our number has been called. You never know when or where or how. But when it's time, it is time.
Anyway.....
But to come back as a ghost....Ghost are white sheets that you can see through and are 2 feet off the ground.
Spirits come back. I beleive that when someone dies and goes to the next step and dimension that they eventually, sooner or later come back to see you.
You just have to be on the ball. Like when the phone has been ringing. Like maybe only one ring for the last few days or the last few weeks. And there is no caller i.d on it.
Or maybe some things even more noticable than that. Things that you just shrug off. Keep in mind of your loved ones, 'cause they really aren't that far away. Just another dimension.
I have heard of people finding pennies. I always thought that, ya everybody finds pennies. Untill the last 2 1/2 weeks. I have been finding pennies in the strangest places. Like in the kitchen sink, my shoe, smack dab in the middle of a chair. And it's been happening on the average of about 5-6 pennies a day. I know that it is my Pa.
I don't have anyone that would be playing me a joke. It's just me and my hubby. And that is not something that he would do.
There have been many other things too, but this is just the latest.
Sometimes 'they' are still here because they don't understand that they should be gone. They are confused or some thing.
I dunno.
Please, do some real research on this and find out as much as you can. You will be intriguied.

What you believe is totally up to you. Just keep you mind open to suttle things that happen around you that aren't usually on the 'norm'.

I don't believe all dead people come back as ghosts, but i do believe when you die you have the option. Like if you feel you still have something to do or prove, otherwise you just go somewhere else(no idea where.)

Nope. There is no such thing as ghosts or an afterlife or anything of the sort. When you die, you're gone. Period. Nothing.
