I will be renting an apartment that only has a bathtub, no shower stall at all. I know there are things that you connect to the faucet so that you can use a sprayer instead of taking a bath. Where do I find something to fix my problem?

You can buy those types of hoses with the shower nozzle at Wal-mart.We turned our tub into a shower with a kit from Home Depot. It had the facet for the tub and another pipe that goes straight up and a ring above the tub that attaches to the ceiling for a shower curtain and the shower head.It cost around 80.00.You have to get 2 shower curtains (to go all around it). make sure its ok to install it w/ your landlord. We love it.

Try Home Depot, Menard's, someplace like that. I once rented an apt. that didn't have a shower stall, it had an old, claw-foot bathtub but there was a shower set up in it. I had to have 2 curtains, but it was awesome. I loved that tub! Good luck!

I've rented all my life and I think you should start by talking to your landlord. Any changes really need to be presented to them. Who knows they might be willing to upgrade considering it would be an improvement to the rental. And if you talk to them first this will show good judgment on your behalf.

The idea of picking up a faucet attachment is a good one, but realize that you'll need a curtain around the tub to keep in the spray. If you don't do this realize that you alone will be responsible for any water damage that is the result of your negligence.

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE TUB, MOVE THE PLUMBING TO A HIGHER LOCATION CHANGE THE DRAIN TO THE MIDDLE OF THE NEW SHOWER AREA. FRAME A NEW SHOWER DAM, WATERPROOF THE BOTTOM AND UP THE WALLS A FOOT. THEN YOU CAN INSTALL NEW TILE. BIG JOB!!! BUT IT CAN BE DONE. IF YOU ARE RENTING REMOVE THE TUB SPOUT AND SEND THE WATER TO A HANDHELD SHOWER OUTLET CHEAP AND EASY.
