I just started my period on July 21st and I am 13. What age were you and if you remember, how long did your first "cycle" last?

I was 11 and my first period lasted 12 days. It was just a few days before school started. This was many years ago when our pads were more like a roll of toilet paper and we had to were a special belt to hold them and they were not plastic lined so we had a lot of leakage. Just remember if you wish for them to stop that will happen when you are old don't hurry the process.

I was 12 and it lasted 2 weeks!!!! When you are young they are a little crazy, it usually takes a few years before they are normal. After my first cycle I didn't have one for 4 months.
