BAD MANAGING.
The team is great, England have fabulous players that are just wonderful.
THE PROBLEM IS SIMPLY BAD MANAGING.

The players are overrated and have no creativity or flair. They only score on Beckham crosses or free kicks. The manager was too conservative and there is too much pressure on the team because of unrealistic expectations. Players like Gerrard and Lampard do not look comfortable playing for England and there are no quality strikers outside of Rooney. Lennon is the only player to show aggression or creativity with the ball.

There are too much talent in the England national team. There is such a saying " Too many Cooks spoilt the soup" and i think every player plays like he is the superstar of the team. You can see it from this World Cup

I think it's bad chemestry. The talent is all there, so the skill players should be getting the job done quickly for England on all fronts. Unfortunately, sometimes you go through slumps. Still, if I had to blame something, it'd be bad chemestry.
