I rember some of the lore about this Jersey Devil, this is what I have read about and heard, if it is true or if it is real I do not know, but this is what many people belive in at lest.
The Jersey Devil was the 13th bastared son of a Witch, it was born with many birth defects that pointed to demonic orgien, the reason why this 13th child was born with it's defects, was simple for the reason that the mother was a witch, and in the time this legend become a witch was only know as a symbole of evil, and of servise to the devil, another reason for it's defects in the legend is that is was the 13th bastard child. Most americans find the number 13 to be another symbole of demonic nature and unlucky energy. These are the reasons why and some history on it. who knows, honestly, we would never know! Especially the Big Foot...if there was some, why havnt we caught it, and stuff? Id like to know that.
I think its just made up to get money/fame.
Sickening..but the Jersey Devil would make a good movie...
Jeepers Creepers guy was based after it.

its a bird kind of like a crane that is rare and exists in the pine barrons I forget the name of the bird but people made up stories about it it has a long beak
