I would have to agree that it's socially unacceptable for men to cry. Men are raised not to show emotion. It's considered "unmanly" for men to cry. Women, on the other hand, are not raised to believe that their emotions need to be hidden. Maybe men do cry, but maybe they are just crying inside? I do know there is some truth to the whole thing, when I saw my dad cry for the first time, it scared the pants off of me. He cried when my uncle died, he cried when his mother died, and he cried when my sister was born. I don't think I've ever seen my current boyfriend cry. The thing is, there is something sweet and sexy about a man who does cry, it shows vulnerability, and maybe it's the mothering instinct in us, but it makes me want to take care of him? It makes me feel closer to a man if he cries in my presence.

society allows it. Boys are groomed to be strong and don't cry. Girl's don't necessarily have that pressure to be stolid rocks and leaders in their home and professional lives. Not to say that women CAN'T, but really women have a CHOICE. Men simply don't have that choice; not unless they want society to frown upon them and see them as being weak.

women are more sensitive then men, they also more emotional. Its a biological and cultural induced behavior.

confidence. women have strong emotional feeling they lack confidence. men have lots of confidence they tend to like to have control. men lacks control that's why they always want it. women lacks confidence. men learns to control emotions its not so importnt to them, they surpassed it
