It's in my candy bar, and yes I get that it is the fluffy part, but what in the hell is it made of, or what is the origin of NOUGAT?

I dunno, but it's prancing, and it's in the middle of your snickers bar, and it's singing songs of satisfaction to the world.

History

One legend claims nougat was born in Cremona, Italy in 1441. It was during a wedding of local nobility that the bride and groom were offered a sweet made with honey, almonds and egg white. Fanciful etymology traces the name to the Torrazzo tower.

its chocolate mixed with hazelnuts, is very smooth and creamy...but the most important ingredients is hazelnuts ( Filbert)
