I don't know how tall your sister is, but at 16 and 125 pounds, she should be at least 5'6". If she is not, then she is slightly overweight, though not much at all. I would question first, why a 16 year old girl is going to a fitness doctor in the first place?

Why on earth is your mother paying for her to go to a fitness doctor anyway? She is sixteen all she needs is a primary physician and a yearly exam. When you pay money to a 'fitness' doctor, they are going to screw her head up and have her freaking out about unneeded things so she will keep coming back.

Depending on her height, I am pretty sure she is in a healthy weight, "bmi" placement. Some doctors think they know everything, trust me i've had my experiences where I had to switch doctors, don't worry.

If your sister is under 5'6", then the doctor is right. She is only 16 and is still growing.

Unless she is a little person.. then she obviously does not need to lose anything! 125 is little on basically any body height and frame.

Well, if she's 4' tall that could be a problem. If you belong to an HMO, change doctors, and report him to his superiors.
