If you could be any historical figure, and live in their time, who would it be? What would you change, if you could?

I wish that I could have been Adolf Hitler during WWII. It would have changed the outcome of the Jews, thereby, changing history for the better. No one would have died in a gas chamber, nor would anyone have had to forego being human. Jewish physicians could practice medicine, Jewish lawyers could practice law and every good Jewish woman could walk the streets without fear for her life. And, no one would have to wear a yellow Star of David, for I would not have hatred in my heart for any man.

I would be myself. Everyone has struggles in life and the people you idolize you don't truly know. You have to walk in their shoes to know them. With each person comes trials and successes. We are all each other just different circumstances. The true hero's have traits you can you just have to find what you like about them and grow. As far as physical, if you really look the most beautiful people are beautiful because of the glow of goodness and happiness. I accepted myself and only then did I change and grow. People say they are jealous but anyone can be me if they try!! I am someone else because I tried!!

I think the people I most admire (Thomas Jefferson, Mohandas Gandhi, etc) I wouldn't want to be, because they did a much better job of it than I think I would--else I wouldn't admire them so much.
So, I'm afraid the answer to your question is, if I could be anyone in history and change any one thing, then I would be Adolf Hitler, and what I would change is I would focus on my painting career and not get involved in politics.

All the people that have made a big impact on history all have one thing in common they are dead. So I guess since I'm still alive and my life is pretty good most of the time then I would be me exept maybe with more money.
