my parents are racist
i went with them to dinner one night.....their was a mixed couple at the table next to us and my mother wouldn't stop whispering "salt and pepper at the next table"....she said it loud enough for them to hear & by the 3rd time the couple were even acting uncomfortable
I had to get up and apologise and leave
worst thing about it was my parents were mad at me over it

When I was 16, my dad came into the family room where I was with my boyfriend and slapped me in the head and told him to get out of our house because it was my bedtime. It was about 1 am.
I was so embarrassed.

not in public. but once my mom had all her friends over, and i was in the bathroom. my period had come on and i called my mom on my cell to ask her to get me a pad. and she comes to the door and yells "we ran out of pads!" *talk about embarassing!* every1 heard. gosh

My mom always bragged about us. I found that embarrassing at the time. I know she was just trying to let us know how proud she was.

my mom got a lighted halloween lawn decoration for a friend of hers for their birthday one year and made me carry it out to the car while she walked way in front of me. o.O;;

yeah...i cant stand it when m parents brag about me to their freids (most of it is exaggerated..)
