No! Pine and Cedar both are toxic. Their phenols (oils) cause respiratory problems and enlarged livers and shortened lifespans.
Good beddings are - aspen, spruce, carefresh, yesterday mews, and cell sorb.
Other bad beddings besides pine and cedar are corn cob bedding.

Pine bedding is fine. Some say it's too dusty but I've never had any trouble. Aspen works too. The only thing to REALLY stay away from is cedar.

Listen to Lady_Crotalus, she's absolutely right. Pine and Cedar are not good for most small animals, no matter what anyone tells you.

I don't like to use ANY kind of tree bedding. I've read in numerous care guids that say tree bedding causes respiratory problems for hamsters. I use paper pulp bedding.

I found that it could be too big for my dwarf hamsters. I used a Kaytee product called Select bedding.

i could say, extremely than removing his/her wheel, pass the cage someplace you won't be in a position of take heed to it. evening, with hamsters being nocturnal, are lively usually in the evening, and in case you eliminate his wheel, he won't be in a position of exercising plenty (purely walk around the cage, which, enable's settle for it, isn't a the right thank you to stroll). in case you are able to desire to, pass the cage right into a distinctive room the place it is not as loud. desire this helps :3
