I`ve been reading peoples questions mainly really serious ones people really need advice on, then reading some of their answers they got, and over half of the answers are really smart alic. Why?

Sometimes I will read answers chosen to serious questions and they are not even serious so it all depends on the questioner.

Some people just hop into EVERY question with a stock stupid answer, just to get the two points.
As frustrating as that is, the ones I dislike are, someone asks a question, and the 44 answerers only say, "Gee I dont know", or, even more lazy, "idk", as an answer. People when you do this, you only show everyone else in YA how uneducated you are.
The people who dont have legitimate questions, ones where the questions are unanswerable ("What do you think of PotC 2?" is a subjective question... means different things to different people, so unanswerable in specific terms), or ones obviously trolling for worthless Yahoo! points are questions I ignore. If they dont get answers, they dont get points.

Because they way Answers works is to REWARD people for answering as many answers as possible, as fast as possible, in a race for points. Since most people don't have actual answers, they can get points faster by being shallow. Much like real life. I'm sure they'll change it for the better as time goes on. And of course a few people give GREAT answers.

i agree with u 100% i have seen the same thing people are playin in here there not serious just wanna be notice i guess and i have also seen some raciest questions ist awful i think that all anwers and questions should ne monitered carefully some those smart allic questions and answers actually hurt innocent people that are here really lookin some serious advice

Because those people who give those smart alic answers have nothing better to do and just answer to get the points are to be "funny".

Thats the main reason i dont like asking questions on here cus people have messed up attitudes, the only time i ask a question on here is when i really need to know the answer and if it pertains to me personally. Treat others how u want to be treated is my motto.

Some people's got ego problems. They can't help it. However, there're still individuals who REALLY supply sincere answers to questions being posted every minute of the day here. It's like good and evil, which they coexist.

Because its humourus. I think most people are able to weed out the idiotic answers from the real ones, and hopefully get a laugh from them at the same time.

Because there are a lot of immature people on this site... and the tone of some of these questions leave the readers wondering about the maturity level of the people asking them....
