If he made a phone call to take care of the situation in Lebanon to stop and put an end to this conflict? Do you think he should spread democracy over there so the situation could be solved once and for all for good?

Uh, no. A phone call isn't going to stop Hezbollah from sending more rockets into Israel, nor is it going to stop Israel's invasion of Lebanon. This is just a prelude to the invasion to Syria and Iran. Hello WWIII.

If you remember Bill got a deal between the Jews & Lebanon. The Jews were to leave So. Lebanonj(which they did ) the Lebanon goverment was going to step in but did not.The terrroist did. The Jews also left Gaza and allthey got were rockets fired at them.I wish the world powers had some backbone and condemed the t errriost like they do the Jews. The Jews are not always right but this time they are.,

I think Bush would be more likely to SAY he made a phone call anyway, and be in Texas, at his ranch... but, supposing he actually DID....

No, it would NOT end the conflict. It's both political over nations in power, AND religious. Both governments are political entities using their religions as backing to an extent - protecting the "right" way, and their homelands in good ol' sacred Jerusalem. Israel has it. They gave up Gaza, but the Lebanese, like the Palestinians - want it eventually. Fighting has been going on since the Hebrew people were set up in Israel as a homeland since World War two, and one little phone call, unless it's from a higher power - isn't about to stop it. Everything is in the wager on this, and - even when one battle stops, the war continues.

Unfortunately, it's not that simple. The Hezbollah (the terrorist group attacking Israel) has said that the only way they will stop is if they are able to wipe out Israel. Besides, this is a conflict that is fulfilling Biblical prophesy. Have faith. Israel WILL triumph over this terrorist group in the end.

Pushing a little red button would probably be quicker.

The conflict over there will never end. The hatred is too deeply ingrained in those psychos.

And to whom should that call be placed? And considering his standing in the world, who would take the call?

NO, I don't think his call to the terrorist in Lebonan to surrender and give up would help. They have already said that they will win as long as they are not all killed.
