For men, you refer to it as simply acting irrational. When women act irrational, it's called being emotional, moody, or hormonal. There is some womanly excuse given, but it is the same thing, regardless of gender, so are the reasons just womanly? After all, men can be emotional, moody, and they certainly have hormones that influence their behavior, too. However, we call it by different names, because we'd like to believe that we are so oppositionally different from each other.
Yes, we all think we're the best, and it's a self-serving bias. I think women are the most rational. But if I were a man, I'd probably think men are the most rational... It depends on where you're standing as to what you will understand and relate to the most. I think the distinction is completely artificial, though.

This question can not be answered correctly, because it's formed using irrational logic. In your question you group all men as being irrational. Everyone is irrational at some point, men and women. Also, rationality in behavior is comparative. What behaviour ( in men) causes you to compare something as rational or irrational. You question doesn't define that.

lol, well, not ALL guys are irrational, but typically STR8 men are because, well, thats just how they are. It probably has something to do with having to be Mr. Testosterone Man all the time. But don't give up on them, they're worth it ... sometimes.

We're just built differently. Aparently someone had a sense of humor =P Though I'd say men are on average much more rational than women... but hey, I'm a guy.

It has taken several years a psycho theraphy and many self-help books that they are very easy to understand because they do tell you what's going on, women fail to listen and misunderstands what's he says to what she wants to believe.
