Hey! Be careful. Midol is a good product but in your case try the "Menstrual Complete" and the "Teen Formula", because other Midol formulations contain Ibuprofen or other NSAID's that you're or are likely allergic too, so be careful. Both contain Acetaminophen, which shouldn't give you a problem with allergies unless you know you are allergic to it too.
Somebody here recommended Advil, that's wrong! Advil is the brand name for Ibuprofen, don't take it if you are allergic to it.
The easiest way is probably to take 2 tablets of Acetaminophen of 500 milligrams every 6 hours (Tylenol is the brand name) for 3-4 days while your period lasts. You may even take 2 tablets first, and then just 1 tablet every 6 hours, you can try whatever takes best care of the pain. Ibuprofen and Naproxen are better for the pain than Tylenol, but it should work ok.
Anyway, it's good to have a gynecologic visit. Sometimes there are some conditions associated with severe cramps, and it's always good to get checked.
Ah! a small but useful tip. Take the Tylenol when the pain starts or even when you don't have pain during your period, don't wait until it gets bad, because then it's harder to relieve it with the medication.
Good luck!

Tylenol might help if you are not allergic and some non-medication relievers like heating pads, hot water bottles and soaking in a hot tub are all winners. Of course, you can't do that if you are out and about, so try the Tylenol

Sounds like you are actually allergic to Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Have you tried “Women's Tylenol Menstrual Relief”. It might work. But you should really see your doctor about your allergies first and see what they recommend.

Tylenol is acetaminophen, which is a different drug than those. You could also use a heating pad, or sometime birth control lessens cramps. Good luck!

try midol, but idk if you are allergic to that either. you can try women's tylenol or advil. or, you could just wait it out. you should find out what you are allergic to in these medicines and ask your doctor what is the best for you. good luck hon!
