They want their 2 points and they don't mind expressing their real feelings since they have to say something to get two points:)
i don't think they should be rude(exceptions are there)but normally question should be ignored if you think it should not have been posted or is not worth answering or if you don't know the answer(Exceptions are there ofcrouse)..
After what what sweet message of internet costs?it might make someone's day..

It seems you asked a quetion that had beed asked many times, I bit you did not notice this. But it is not a crime. I read the reply to your question and yes it was rude. But I guess the writer was just trying to be funny. Never mind. I I agree with most people here, rude people can be found anywhere. I would like to add this stanza of an Arabic poem I like so much, it helps me to cope with such people:
`If a foolish person offended you, don`t answer him
Because if you answered him, he will be comforted, but if you leave him alone, he will die of fury`

I understand where you're coming from but you must see it from our side... some of us have been doing this for awhile and have had our day filled with the same question all day long today. I personally think that the messenger being down is simply a ploy by Yahoo to get new people addicted to Answers.... you are proof that it is working. Best wishes

It's human nature and some people excell at it. It's about the same as people who's only quilifications are to seek our mispelled words and their answer is that regardless of the question. even though they mispell half of their onw posts. Online is full of these poor souls and they are in bad need of medicine.

I've dealt with people who want their answer sweet and light, all sugar-coated and so forth. Then they don't get the point I'm trying to get across. So I've started being blunt, hoping that they will understand my meaning. I try to explain it short and sweet and as plainly as possible. If you think that's rude, then so be it.

There are rude people EVERYWHERE.
Just a part of life.
Ignore them and hopefully they'll go away!
