It seems that without Myspace and Yahoo Messenger, everyone seems to have gone into whiny panic mode. Have we become so dependant on these things that we can't function adequately without them?

I think that the reason everyone is panicing...is because it's hot as well. There's nothing to do inside when the Internet is being retarded...and the heat is just plain sucky. Grr....maybe it is pathetic....

I think it is very pathetic, although at first I thought it was a problem with my pc or something that I had done to cause my messenger not to work. But like everyone else I uninstalled messenger and all yahoo links from my pc. I quickly found out it wasn't me but yahoo. I think that everyone just needs to do things the old fashioned way like before everyone became dependent on messenger and computers for everything.

Hmmm... it would seem that Yahoo answers is becoming more of a chat room than anything else... prehaps as a sub for chat in messenger?

My point exactly! Everyone jumped all over me when I asked them to stop squawking about it... sheesh! You'd think that there were no other methods of communication in this world! As for me, I don't use Yahoo for my instant messaging, so I couldn't care less.
