Details...I need details! I don't know the "technical" terms for anything, but I want a really good computer. What should I look for?

Ok now, u need to answer a few questions first. What are u going to use ur computer for.??
1. If performance is the priority...there can be a few options. PC and Mac both have nice configurations.
2. I can decide the configuration for u....basic one....
256-512mb ram, 14'' or 15'' screen. CD/DVD writer, 1.5Ghz or over for processor speed. go for intel duo which is recently introduced.
3. do u want desktop or laptop?
4. is money a factor here.??

If u r more into movies, music, photo editing, graphics designing etc....go for a Mac
if not....PC is much more cheap and affordable....
Mac has every damn think in-build....PCs need a few accessories...but saves money.
Macs are more robust and good looking...but the majority people use PC....
Dell, Toshiba, Acer, Sony are some of the big PC sellers
But Mac are a beauty, but u should be able to spend a little extra.

well if u got more questions....u know where u find me...i can get more detailed :)
