why do people have pet spiders thats really gross they are gross and do you have one and do you think its cool

I do not have a pet spider, although I have always been terified of spiders, a friend of mine had a tarantulla and I did get used to it. It did not feel gross when I held it. It was soft and gentle. It was very pretty and it helped me get over my fear of spiders. Spiders are not my idea of the perfect pet, but then nither are my favorite pets the favorite of many other people. I raise aguanas and agamas. They are the perfect pet for me, though most of my friends look to make sure they are all in their cages before they enter my home. By the way, when they're out of their cages, they catch and eat spiders. Cool!

I love spiders, almost as much as I love my snakes. Almost. if you don't like them thats fine. A lot of people don't like spiders and just as many do. I love spiders because they are so arcanic and because people are afraid of them. They creep and crawl, are hairy and fanged and eat other insects, small reptiles, and small birds. Plus they are amazing, the way they spin their webs and how such as small beautiful arachnid can scare so many people. What can be more pleasing? I had a red kneed tarantula.

some people probably enjoy a spider's 8 spindly appendages. i personally don't understand. culture probably. i know 6" diameter spiders walk up and down the street in some countries just as normally as you or i. truestory.

I have a cobalt blue tarantula. I got it to get over my fear of spiders, I'm still afraid of spiders but I find the tarantula fascinating to watch.

Because spiders are unique? easy to keep/feed? some people just find them fasinating, just like some one who likes dogs, might not like cats. its all preference and variety of interests. makes the world go round! :)
