i love any program that comes on. i get TONS of ideas on wall color and how to make my house seem brighter and larger. not watching it at the moment...cause my hubby is watching the news...but I'm sure he'll have it on there soon.(we are HGTV junkies).
i still need to finish up my kitchen...we are done with all the bed rooms, and the living area. after the kitchen we are working on the bathrooms.
i definitely think i could have a show! it would be called, POS (piece of sh!t) House...because we were lied to about its condition when we bought it, and the VA loan inspector was an idiot. its amazing....my husband puts 11 years into the military serving his country and then the VERY ppl that help soldiers GET homes....fail to inspect his house properly.
anyway....we are fixing it up so we can sell, and move. we are almost done! we have been here 4 yrs now.
we have done everything ourselves, and i have been renamed by family and friends as the Spackle Queen! i can make ANY wall look new with just a can of spackle!
everything we have redone has not been touched since 1980! its been fun, its been hard, its been horrible, talk about blood, sweat and tears!
but I've gained SO much knowledge about home repair!
HGTV rules! and Discovery Home Channel!

I love HGTV! But ever since I started watching it, I get too many ideas of things I want to do in the house. I can't really name just one favorite show. I like Design on A Dime, Divine Design, House Hunters, My First Place. But I also like the older shows such as Room By Room, Decorating Cents, and Curb Appeal. I don't think I could have a show on it because I don't have expertise in any one area. As for rooms needing redoing, yes: the kitchen mainly. We've still got 70s dark wood cabinets, and tile counters w/dark brown grout.

yes I watch HGTV. my favorite show is, forget the name, but it's where they redo your room w/ the stuff you already have in it and stuff around your home. Yes, my whole house needs to be redone. I don't think I could have a show on HGTV.

I watch it a lot. I like Paul James the gardener guy on Saturday mornings. And any of the home makeover shows. I like Curb Appeal. I have a torn up bedroom that isn't finished yet. Bathroom's been done and I just did the extra bedroom into an office for myself because I do typing work at home. We've been trying to hang drywall for several months now, but it never seems to get done.

LOVE HGTV We watch it every night when we go to bed. I was so hoping to win the Dream House, Loved IT! Especially the Scrapbooking room. I love all the shows. I get tons of ideas to do to my house.
