I think there is a concerted effort to reduce our freedoms. It drives me crazy to read what other baby neo-cons are thinking...do they really believe the crap they say, or are they really that misinformed and brainwashed. every time I say some little tidbit around my town, I get bashed. what i read here and other places disturbs me...they always bring up Gays, strem cells, crazy liberals and all sorts of unimportant things...don't they get the central point...that we have to agree as a nation what to do...or at least have the moderate view reflect our actions in the world and in government. I watch cspan occasionally and see people getting irate over stupid things, when our survival as a ethical country is at stake...no one does anything about it, they just spend money on stupid crap and time on things like whether two guys can get married...who cares. what about our men in Asia...will there be hundreds of thousands more of our men over there propping up this administrations gambles. Ithink there is a lot of tunnel vision going on.

Of course he does. He made a oath when he accepted the job as president to "protect, uphold and defend the consistution so help he him God." The bill of rights promises us freedom of speech.

If this is a matter of the entire stem cell veto...what can I say? Perhaps that this isn't about free speech but about the desire to harvest human life to prolong human life. Does the end justify the means? Is this really an issue about free speach or is it more about the human fear of death.

Of course not. Bush is a nazi neocon who wants to control all forms of speech and media. ie, not allowing soldier funerals to be put on the news.

Bush is not the u.s. constitution, he's the president. He doesnt have to advocate something gauranteed to all of us already. He has more important things to do.
