I have really dry cracked feet. I hate this because my feet used to be really cute. What can I do to get them to be soft, healthy, and pretty again? OH, and please no stupid remarks, yes I wash them, and no I don't have a foot fettish, I am just concerned with my own aoppearance, and it is not pleasuing to my eye to have icky feet. I love to wear open toed shoes and sandals etc, but feel a little self conscious about it. Any suggestions on what might help?

I love taking care of my feet. I get a pedicure once a week and everyday I pumice my feet, then use a foot lotion followed by an anti-fungal spray then use a deodorizing powder that also absorbs sweat.

My feet look great, even at the end of the day. They are never dry, stink, or cracked anywhere.

I'm like you, I can't stand nasty looking feet. If i'm wearing sandals or flip flops i'll just use the pumice, lotion and footspray. I've tried lots of products for feet but the best stuff i've used is by avon.

I do a couple of things. First go to some place like Bath and Body works and get a foot exfoliater (don't know the actual name but if you tell the sales associate they'll help you). Mine is made of baked clay and I use it in the shower. Every day I rub it over my troubled foot areas to remove dead skin. In the winter it's the only thing that gets me through.
Another thing I do is every so often rub Vaseline into my feet and put socks on before I go to bed.
There's nothing wrong with wanting pretty feet! Good Luck.

Get a foot file (2 sided metal one). File the dry parts until they are relatively smooth (be careful not to get file crazy it can cause a little pain if you do…a little bit at a time and only on the really rough parts). Than get into the tub and let them soak, when you get out massage with a good moisturizer. Do this about once a week and your feet will look great.

Your going to laugh at this but since I paid 100 bux for the office visit to a Dermatologist I feel obligated to share his CURE of dry cracked feet.... are the soles of your feet doing this or just the back heel part? He sent me to the hardware store... Thats right...Duct tape... make a cast with it over the dry part... mine was the heel and it cracked deeply.... it holds the crack together while it " heel's " pardon the pun LOL heals..... but before I do that, I use a two sided callous remover like a big nail file and smooth it down. Don't bother with the tape if you put lotion on first, the tape won't stick. :) it's worth a shot and drink more water ..... dehydration was another "cure" .... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Keep using lotion allot, that should help, but use specific moisturises specially for the feet. also once you are back home, put your feet in a bucket of hot water and salt, till the water get cold.
Keep doing this till your feet is back to normal...
Plus change the shoes you are to something more comfortable and practical. this always works

Lamisil makes an entire line of footcare products to help heal and then prevent dry cracked feet.
I have a male friend who suffered from this problem, and Lamisil really helped!
