I am considering buying a computer from either Dell or Gateway... Gateway seems about 25% more expencive for the same thing...

I was wondering if there are any New PC companies that provide a military discount?

How about Frys or NewEgg.com do they?

You would need to contact your local branch office (of the service you're in) to find out the specifics on it.

Dell works on very specific member codes for their pricing/discounts. You could try calling Dell, but they might not have a method of authetnticating you, but certainly try it.

For Gateway, it's going to be the same way. But most of the time, if you have a contract with one, you won't with the other. That being said, I'd see 1. what contracts they do have, 2. How that fits with your needs. They might even have HP or a private reseller contract.

If you ask they will sometime give them out but you need to prove that you are a military person!
