I had morning sickness with my first for 9 months VERY BADLY and with my second for about the first 5 months and with my third for only a couple of months so really there is no way to know for sure. I did do some research on this when I was so sick the whole time with my first and they do say that it will most times go away by 4 months.

It depends on the person...this is my first pregnancy, and I was only sick for about 3 weeks at the most (I don't know how I got so lucky!) Most people are only sick for the first trimester, maybe a little into the second, but some people can be sick the whole time. Just think of it this way...you won't be sick forever...only 9 months! I know that might not seem to help, but as soon as that baby is out, you are on your way to recovery and no more sickness!

Congrats on the baby!

Hate to burst your bubble, but with my son I was sick the entire time, it really sucked. However, with my daughter it was just a couple of months, I was pretty good by about 12 weeks. Every pregnancy is different, so there is really no telling how long you might be feeling like this. The one thing I found to help tremendously is ginger, try drinking some watered-down ginger ale (if you can't handle the carbonation right now), and it should help you settle your tummy. Good luck, and I promise the end result of this whole thing will be well worth it!

It sucks...I know. During my pregnancy my morning sickness was soo bad that they ended up prescribing me pills so that I could keep food down. If it continues to persist I would look into asking your doctor about doing the same for you. It helped alot, and the morning sickness was soon gone, all I had to do was remember to take a pill twice a day. Hope that helped, I wish that best for you.

It varies. As you know every woman is not the same. Morning sickness could happen at night and even last your entire pregnancy. In some cases, you may have to change your diet completely to control the sickness.

Usually morning sickness only occurs during your first trimester, however some unlucky people have it during their entire pregnancy. These people have it usually hard. They sometimes get put on medication, and some get admitted to the hospital for IV infusions (to help with being dehydrated. Hopefully it will soon end for you. Good luck!

Usually it stops after the first trimester but some people have it all the way through their pregnancy. I was blessed I didn't have it with either of my children. But my friend had twins and she had it the whole time. So it depends on the person but it should stop pretty soon.

Sorry to say you can have morning sickness the entire 9 months. Try eating salty potatoes chip and drink lemonade. I know it is a weird combination but it really helped me feel less queasy.
