ok u no how in the 2nd 1 elizabeth kissed jack...but it was onli 2 lock him 2 the boat..mi friend is absolutly positive that elizabeth loves jack and is ganna marry him instead of will...while im pretty sure will and elizabeth are ganna get married in the 3rd movie n the kiss was onli 2 lock jack 2 the boat..who is right?

I think Elizabeth was curious about Jack and only used the oppertunity to kill 2 birds with one stone, in a matter of speaking. She knew what she had to do but she also knew she could get what she wanted at the same time. I still think her and Will are going to get married although they may have problems in the begining because he saw her kiss him and he doesnt know what it meant. So yeah i think in a way both of you are right =]

You are right about Elizabeth kissing Jack to lock him to the boat, but yet, she MAY be right about her being in love with him. I guess he'll just have to wait until 2007 for POTC.
I also thought that she was kissing him because I got the vibe that Jack had never really kissed or had a love experience with a woman before, and she wanted to give him that for the first time in his life.

i think you are both kinda right.... i think he just represents something she has never had, i mean someone who is not going to act totally english proper andnever treat her with disrespect. he represents intrigue and danger so she is fascinated by him . but i think the main reason she kissed him was so she could tie him up!!!
i don't think anything will happen in the next one between him and her, she loves will and he loves her, they will stay angry at each other for a while, then they will fight she will explain and all will be forgiven.

i think she likes him a little, but not enough to marry him. it was a tricky kiss, but also a goodbye kiss because she was basically sacrificing him to save everyone else. i think will will have his doubts, but i'm pretty sure they're finally marry in the third movie.
