i don't want to have to download anything, nothing that will give me viruses, and nothing that i have to give a credit card number to.

You have to. Music stores require software.
P2P requires software.
Not all software contains viruses, sheesh.
BitTorrent, if you want illegal-ness.

That is tough... does one of your friends have a big cd collection? Otherwise, you're going to be downloading. Itunes music store has 2 songs a week for free download. It's usually some unknown group though.

uh how can u get something on your ipod from the internet with out downloading...thats impossible. Try limewire at www.limewire.com its free and you can download all you want, just beware some downloads dont come out the best but that only happens to me 1 out of 30 times i download. happy downloading!

OKAY I'Z GOT ME AN iPOD, AND IF U DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD NUTHIN, OR RISK GETTIN A VIRUS, U NEED TO COME BACK 2 REALITY. BUT "LIMEWIRE" DOESN'T REQUIRE ANY INFORMATION OR CREDINTIALS OR ANYTHING, BUT ADWARE, SPYWARE AND SUCH IZ A RISK. BUT LUCKILY I HAVE NORTONS......SO YEAH THATZ MY ANSWER. borrow your friends cds and import them. otherwise, its impossible
