An argument against alien intervention: it's highly unlikely.

An argument in favor is the percipitous decline of the Egyptian culture after the time of the pyramids; building projects confined themselves to single-story mastaba-style (e.g., Hapshetsut's tomb) buildings, and the odd obelisk, and the culture never advanced any further...very odd...and, indeed, was unable to deflect the Greeks (Alexander), or the Romans (Antony; Caeser), or indeed anyone else.

So, little silver-skinned alien helper pals, yes, or no?

Aliens? -- No.

The proffered evidence is not very compelling (no offense meant).

Cordially,

Probably not. Any species intelligent enough to travel across space wouldn't waste so many resources on big sundials.
Who says the 'Egyptians' built the pyramids? Only the people who read the heiroglyphs that show pictures of them. In other words, the 'Egyptians' (using the term to refer to the empires of the commonly accepted as Egyptian eras) came along after they were built. Probably by someone much longer ago than our Religion-tainted view of history (6000 years, anyone?), and probably when there were more resources in that area, in other words, before it was mostly desert. Tribes of people were leaving Africa to populate the world at least 40,000 years ago, and a LOT could have been built and lost (probably during lower sea levels and larger land areas) in that time. The pyramids were probably NOT tombs originally, but some other kind of tool.

Which area are you referencing? Pyramid building exists on several continents

Egypt's, first (4500 years ago) has an owner but what is unknown exactly is how they came to be. Some probable theories but not confirmed.

The Sphinx may be older than any pyramid.

No.

They were built by the ancient kings of Egypt.
They and ancient Indians had remarkable technologies and some of them were far superior than the new techniques.
For Examples look at ancient Indian and Sri Lankan temples and religous structures.

So, aliens with advanced technology came to earth in their space faring ships to make buildings out of mud bricks...and then left again. And the point would be...why? So, I guess my answer is no.
