Remember these jeans? before all this disco designer and then baggy and low rise hip hugger flare stuff happened? you wore these and you were guaranteed to get your rear kicked at school!
They came in all sorts of neon bright colors.. navy, red, brown, green, blue....white contrast stitching, leather patch over back right pocket....knee patches...guarantee from Sears they would never wear out. Wore them from 5-15.
Internet is full of postings from people who say their parents made them wear them as kids and are now scarred for life. I remember complaining once. I got my lil boo tanned and then wore them gladly for the rest of childhood without complaint.
They always were ill-fitting but if Sears would fix the fit, put a hip hugger low rise, man they'd sell these to today's young women.

Yeah, I wore 'em as a kid. Had to wear the huskies b/c I was...well, husky.
In my teens, it was all about the Lees and Levis. Did try on a pair of Sergios in the 80s, but I would have had to have been castrated for them to fit; I figured I might want to have kids someday.
