At what size do most people Consider a Girl Fat?

I am sorta a broad boned "stalky" gal.
But I wear a size 7. I think its a pretty small size
however i myself do not look particluarly skinny.
I have heard it implied that anything above a 5 is
fat to men.

Is this true seriously??

I am 5'2" and 115 LBS
I wear mostly 7 sometimes 5

I think anyone who tries to pin it to some particular 'size' like in clothing must be an idiot. To me, hearing that someone is a 'size 2' sounds like they must be a child or something. I've had lots of friends who were in size 14 and 16, and I thought they looked great. But they were close to my height, too. If a girl was only 5 foot tall, and was wearing those same clothes, it wouldn't look all that good.

If you don't have like rolls hanging on your body, or have your belly being a lot bigger than your hips, then I wouldn't be thinking you're fat. A little pooch in front isn't all that unusual, and looks really cute on a lot of girls. I don't call THAT fat. Not everyone can have those flat, tight abs.

But some people have been totally brainwashed by Madison Ave ( the advertising people ) and all the Hollywood hype, and start thinking everyone must be either anorexic-type thin or have ripped muscles, or else you're some fat couch potato. Geesh, they need to get a life. There are some people who couldn't look like that no matter how much they exercise, and I think some girl with no shape to her arms, and a bony pelvis, is pretty unsettling. I don't think that's any healthier than someone who has gotten all rolly-polly.

No way is 7 fat to anyone - that is crazy!
I would think that anything above a 14 would start to be questionable.

But you must keep something in mind. Size may not mean much, since clothes are made by different companies with different models. Everyone is shaped and distributed differently, so size in clothes doesn't say much.

This is why you could buy a one pair of jeans size 6 and then have to buy a size 8 in another brand. It doesn't mean you gained weight in five minutes, it's the fact that the clothes are made by different manufacturers and there will be differences.

The focus should be on how you look - visually. Take a picture and look at it. That's how you will know how you look to others.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - different men like different things. It's impossible to please everyone - just be healthy.

No it's not fat at all. I'm 5ft 2, 120lb and a size 8. I'm certainly not fat, but I do have curves in all the right places. This is what's important if you go in and out at the waist and keep in shape, how can you be considered fat? There are probably girls that are size 2 with flabby thighs and wobbly bottoms and girls at size 8 with rock hard thighs and a tight, pert butt. I know which I think is more attractive!

Men aren't all that clued up about weight and dress sizes, in fact that is an understatement, so don't take no notice. You have absolutely nothing to worry about, Take care and keep smiling : )

Ummmmm, no.

Most guys are completely clueless when it comes to a woman's size of dress. They couldn't tell the difference between size 5 or 7 or 8! They couldn't tell the difference between size 20 or 22 either!

The only people who seem to care are other women who want to be catty and modelling agencies. So quit stressing! Fat is obese, and size 7 is nowhere near that! You will know if you are fat if your doctor recommmends a diet plan, but until that day comes, just relax and feel good about yourself.

That will make you all the more beautiful!

No, it isn't. It's highly subjective and also depends on your height. A girl who is 5 feet tall may be a bit chubby at a size 7 whereas a girl who is 6 feet tall will look just right.

Men usually think women with a little meat on their bones look good, but each has his own type...some like stick-thin girls and some prefer chubby girls. I think the majority are happy with something in between, and many studies have found that men care more about a pretty face than a perfect body. Just like some women like skinny guys, some like super-ripped guys, but most are happy with something in between. As long as you look balanced and proportioned for your bone structure, they'll think you look good.

I've never heard that anything above a size 5 is fat to men. every man is different and likes different body types. keep that in mind.

I dont think a size seven is large at all, i am a 10 and I do not feel fat at all. I think anything larger than 13 is a little big. You should just feel happy at whatever size you are.

I thiink it doesn't have as much to do with weight as it does with having a well toned and proportioned body. Some women can look soft and flabby at 115 and others at the same weight can look, and be sizes smaller.

well, most guys dont even know what a size 7 means.I think the whole "fat" thing is relative, and it also depends on where you live, cuz im a latin, and over here,a litle extra skin(not that much tho) is really hot.nobody likes a 00 girl cuz she doesnt have a nice body, shes just skinny.besides, ive seen a lot of size 10 girls with hourglass figures and trust me the last thing i think of is fat.
