Because when you type in a question, it will show you questions that look like they could provide the answer to your question and have already been asked.
But instead, people ignore the fact that there's tons of very recent questions to look at and post theirs, maybe hoping someone will magically have the answer.
For the Myspace users: Stop using internet exploiter, it's a broken web-browser.
For YIM users: AIM still works and it's what I use 99% of the time. You don't need all the extra stuff right this second.

It doesn't matter or not whether you know WHY Yahoo isn't working, just look at the 2000 other questions regarding the situation before asking "Help! My Yahoo IM isn't working - why is that?". It's not like you have to do a search to see that everyone is having the same problem - just read the first couple questions.

its not being mean but it seems that every 2 secs someone is asking the same question is messenger and myspace down.
