Can someone enlighten me, please?

I am very ignorant about what is causing the current situation between Israel and the Arab Nations. Id like to know the whole story right from the start. I know about the holocaust and all that but the Palestine/Israel thing has me very confused.
Israel was a nation once, I know. How did it come to disappear? Why do they not have their own homeland like every other nation? Were they invaded like, say, Ireland was by the British? It is very hard to understand the current situation when you dont know the root cause.

Lisa D - Are you crazy? One history I do know about is the Irish one. The Irish are Celts. The English invaded Ireland in the 12th century with the aid of an Irish King, it must be said. They are still there.

Rachel, it is true the Israelis are originally from Arabia..!
But when Abraham was instructed to leave (by God) he took his wife Sarah and rest of family immigrating to Palestine.
Palestine then was a very beautiful peaceful land. At one point it was feared even by the greatest of the great Pharaohs "Ramsis the Second" for their most powerful army and their military tactics.
Palestine real name is Palestine (pronounced with F not P) with a beautiful capital called Maggado (where the Magdalene came from).
The Israelites lived in peace for many centuries but once they discovered the wealth of EGYPT, they migrated into EGYPT through the east Sahara (Sinai) and settled around the biggest Oasis where they started to impose taxes on the Egyptian travelers who passed by their Oasis for centuries to rest, drink, and water their animals.

Egyptians were NOT very amused with paying tax to foreigners for their own Oasis. They complained to the Pharaohs (many of them got the Israelis out of Egypt) including Ramsis the Second (this story is very clearly recorded on his temple in Luxor).
The Israelites (a small group of nomad people) got out but 500 years later, they returned back to Egypt..!

Israelites (who have disappeared now) have ruled Palestine for 200 years during Solomon who built the ORR -Shalom (The city of Peace/ Jerusalom) but then as ever Israelites wanted MONEY, MONEY and gradually disappeared in various lands where there is MONEY easily made, till they discovered Europe!
The current Jews are from Asia where they were forcebly converted not the true Jews who disappeared over the years. Remember,Jews were only a very small number.
The native Palestinians never left their land, and continued through the history up and down like any other nation.

Their lust for MONEY took them all the way to GERMANY where they made even more MONEY through taking off all banks, all companies, and all markets and control the German economy in total.
The rest is history.
By the way, UNs have offered the Israelites after WW2 three countries to go to (not to occupy) including Palestine. The rest is history.

The history has always been corrupted.I will simply explain the real problem.There is no doubt that followers of Judaism were at a time a gifted Nation of the God.They disobeyed and were punished and thrown all over the world.That is how they were found in the Europe.Then they went through the holocaust with the courtesy of the Western nations.To reward them after holocaust,they brought them to Palestine and threw the original inhabitants,the Palestinians and now they are being assisted by the West in their terror and forceful occupation of Palestinian land.USA,and UK are the main supporters of this terrorist nation.They do not know any other language than forceful occupation.Now they have turned their face towards Lebanon and would occupy the area according to their will with the support of USA and UK.What a pity.

To answer this question you have to go to The Bible and in Genesis where God has promised to bless him through his seed.
Two sons were born to Abraham and God chose the second to be the son of promise you can read to how Gods will was circumvented with the first son. Any way God gave the land that Israel and even a larger portion because Israel is considered Gods chosen people. The Arabs are descendants of the first son Ishmael while the Jews are the descendants of Issac the second son.
This is more than real estate they are fighting about. Gods favor is on his people and the short of it is the older son is jealous of the younger.
God has his way of doing things. It's us who has a way of screwing it all up.
God told Abraham I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. He was speaking in reference to the descendants of promise.

Now what you are seeing I believe is a precursor to Ezekiel Ch 38 and 39. Be careful and be warned that God is starting his end time as we know it. when the other Arab states and Russia gets involved God will destroy 5/6 of the invading army into Israel.

isreal is the promised land of the hebrews. It was invaded many times by bablon, syria and other nations and its people were dispersed throughout the world. THe Isreali and jewish people's homeland is isreal THere was a movement called the zionist movement after WWII which created the jewish homeland of isreal where palestine existed. Originally the area was divided between isreal and palestine, but after many invasions by the surrounding nations, isreal took over all of the land it owns today. the major reason of the crisis is due to the difference of religions.

Isreal is defending itself from a series of suicide bombers and worse that have been attempting to take over the Isreali nation for a long time and won't make peace with Isreal until Isreal gives up most of its land to the Palistineans. So finally, the Isrealis are striking back ... it is about time.

They have been fighting for 400 years and 400 years from now they will still be fighting ... most of the world see them as nuts.. We need to cut off all money to that region and let them fight it out to the end ..
