I type in my screen name and password and it says connecting to yahoo for about 10mins then stops.

it's because Tom sold Myspace to the Yahoo! corporation and yahoo! and myspace are both down so programmers can merge the websites. sorry to burst your bubble bro, myspace is no more. as for messenger...it should be up again soon!
