Come on! There are people living without food or shelter, people running for their lives, but you cannot stand when your email or messanger is not working? That is so wrong.

No doubts.

Most people are crippled without internet. They cant sleep if the emails are unread. They feel lost if they went out without their mobiles. They can't remember phone numbers anymore and a lot more to mention.....

I do feel sad but life has always been this way. A much as you and i try to help those less fortunate theres little we can do.

Are you willing to give up your PC to feed a few hungry children?

Exactly how is that wrong? This is what we know, this is what we are used to. Yeah people are out there with all those problems but do you expect us to stop living our lives because others are less fortunate? It is not our fault that there are people out there with less. I have lived my whole life with very little but I never bitched about it either. Grow up hon, you can't save the world and if you're so worried about it what exactly are you doing about it?? Bitchin at us instead of helping those you mentioned.

I totaly agree people that have gooci, prada, and all those other rich things take things for granted!! they don't appreciate what god has blessed them with! They might be sick of it but other people around the world that are starving and wear the same clothes 24/7 would kill for a steak or a well deserved dinner while people say their sick of stake and all that fancy stuff! If they lived in those peoples shoes for one day, they wouldn't take it for granted!

To quote someone famous: "Moderation in all things." I think that is one of our society's biggest problems: Not setting limits.
I think it is a matter of safety to have a cell-phone. If you are stranded, it beats looking for a pay-phone. However, needing to be attached to it while driving is downright dangerous. I'm also sick of people running into me and giving me dirty looks when it was their fault for not seeing me due to pressing a lot of buttons and viewing only the screen.
There is another quote that I agree with, "Guns don't kill, people do."
Man invented it for hunting and war, but as with anything else man creates, including technology, there will always be abuse on behalf of some percentage of bad apples who ruin it for everyone else.

That is like discriminating against people who use this free stuff to communicate with family who live in other nations and since calling costs so much its easier to message or mail someone for FREE

Total red herring, what does Yahoo Messenger have to do with poverty?

Should we feel sorry for people who fail at school because they lack the drive to study and attend class?

Should we feel sorry for people who gorge themselves to obesity and then cry when they can't find a man?

This is America - capitalism.and social Darwinism.. you survive, you fight to make money, to be something. If you can't hack it, you become extinct.

...and you ask this question digitally? I think you can serve your cause better by sending food, giving money, and aiding joggers.

Stop pretending to be proactive and be proactive.
