the little smiley face smiles and says its signing in and then nothing happens. when i first launched earlier today i was on a for just a second and then it closed down. i am trying to get it up and running as my husband is in iraq and that is what he uses over there. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

DUH!! Why is every other question about Yahoo
Messenger not working? Read just one question and you
will see everyone else is having the same problem. This is
a conspiracy by Yahoo Answers to burn up everyone’s
points.
Obviously Yahoo messenger is whacked. Don't stress out
over it. There is nothing you can do about it. This is only a
problem if you have no life and your whole world is in
Yahoo messenger and you sit glued to the computer all day
like some over-dosed drug addict. Guess what? It’s
withdrawal time!!
Do you really need this nonsense? Get a life.

We are not the only ones having this problem....I haven't been able to get on all day....did the same thing you did...didn't work either and I have seen other post in reseaching the problem....must be a Yahoo thing...
