this morning,there was no problems with yahoo messenger.this afternoon started my problems with yahoo messenger.i cant log on it.

I am having the same problem. The servers are down, so we could only hope it will be back soon.

i am having the exact same problem, hopefully there is just a problem with yahoo messenger. my messenger became unavailable to me around 3pm central time. i guess im glad that someone else is having the same situation. my email works fine. lets just hope that the problem is temporary with yahoo messenger

yes ...it is more than a pain...my bf is in Qatar...and its the only communication that has been available...till now!! would be nice if they could have posted something somewhere sooner..I wouldn't have wasted so much time trying to correct the situation!
