With my late husband I set him up so I could see what he looked like when he lied. I wanted to see if I could tell the difference. I found I couldn't tell but maybe you can. Anticipate his actions & take precautions first as far as money, etc goes. Also please realize it is NOT your fault. Many people cheat instead of trying to solve relationship problems. And let's face it, men are from mars . . women venus, it's true, there will be difficulties. There was a good book of tough love by James Dobson but can't remember the title. But it's very important to draw the line BIG in the sand & don't take him back very easily otherwise he will know he can get away with it in the future. I feel for you ~ be strong.
PS Someone mentioned doing it to him, I assume so he would know the hurt & maybe stop. That was my thinking . . . he committed suicide.

I was in denial for years but, came home early from work because I got sick and saw with my own 2 eyes, I had small children at the time so I calmly walked out of the room and slept with my children and the next morning I threw all his clothes in the street!! I never even talked to him till I saw him in divorce court. Once a cheat always a cheat!! I now have been married over 20 years. Good luck, you deserve better.

Well ladies, I certainly agree with you all in the cussing him out and telling him off and saying you are leaving him and slapping him and all that...
But I have a different problem...
I am disabled and out of work just over 4 years now...
I am not strong or able to get a job or make money...
The house is half mine so I don't see why I should leave...
The majority of the contents are also mine that I had before the marriage...
I am unable to pay bills or work with my disability so unfortunately for me, I think I would end up hurt and crying as this has happened in my past with different husbands, but I don't see where I have a choice to leave...
I think I would stay and make him leave and in the divorce decree, make him pay for the house payment so I would be able to stay in my own house...
All my furniture and pets wont fit into a small apartment and I can't see myself packing and moving...
So he would have to get out and leave me the house in my name and him pay for it till it is paid off...

I don't think I would say a word. I would just let him believe that everything was OK. I would then go on the prowl to find myself a little fun and make sure he found out. I would really like to see how he would react.

I don't think there would be any words to him directly. But, recently, in Los Angeles, a woman took out a billboard on Sunset Blvd (not cheap) and it said something like ....
"Steven, do I have your attention now? I know everything. You are a cheating, dirty, sleazy, poorly endowed slimeball. I have it all on tape.
P.S. I paid for this billboard from our joint savings account."
I must admit, that was pretty brilliant.

Well, I'd play dumb, like I didn't know to see what would happen. And then I'd start hinting at it. Like, if he is supposed to be at work, and his job calls looking for him, when he got home, I'd ask how his work day was. Just to see if he would lie to my face. Then if he did. I'd start thinking about it. I wouldn't show him affection like I did before I found out. And then confront him. See what he says. Then say you saw him yourself. And leave him. If he was worth your time, he wouldn't have been with another girl. And if he says he loves you, then he must have not loved you enough because he was with someone else. <33.

There would be no words. He things would be on the porch and the locks would be changed. There is no resolution and no talking. I will never be able to trust this kind of person again.
I told my husband that if he evere decided to cheap that he may as well save the trouble and just pack his own bags and leave.

My first words would be " Oh the pile of ashes in the driveway, oh that's all your ****, now you better get goin before it's a pile next to it called you" Cause when he got home he'd want to know why there was a pile of ashes in the driveway, and of course that would be where I put all his stuff out in his car and set it off.

Of course I'd tell him something, but all I would say is, "You let me down, I hope you have a great life. Wait for the court date. Adios!"
If it ever happens I just hope I can hide my tears 'cause it will hurt and I wouldn't want to give him the pleasure of seeing me cry.
