Never tell an online date where you live or work and meet in a very public place....and make sure that you've talked to them A LOT so that they've had time to slip and contridict themselves. If you have good judgment and are able to read people well, there's no reason that you can't meet someone you've spoken with online. Of course, I should include as well - if you're of a similiar age. If you're 15 - do not meet a 35 year old man. Be aware that if he wants to meet you, he has problems - not because you're not great but because he's an adult and trolling the net for minors.

Sure, why not. Couldn't be no worse than meeting some one in a club and taking off with them within 3 hours after meeting. You just don't want to date straight out, meet in the day time have lunch or coffee. Think of the first date as an interview to see if there would be any chemistry.

Yes because I met my wife online and she is awesome!!! But you have to be VERY CAREFUL. If you meet the person in real life, make sure it's in a public place with lots of people around.

I met my husband online... but we only met because I knew his older brother from back in the day and I allready kind of knew who he was (though we never actually met before we started chatting). It would scare the crap outta me otherwise.
