Well, from the sound of the question I'm guessing that you want to stay with her. But you have to ask yourself if you really want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you? She'll never return your love and/or affection unless she feels the same way you do about her and obviously she doesn't. I know you still want to be her boyfriend, but she just wants to be friends now. I'd take what I could get.

Be happy that she told you how she felt. Breaking up can hurt lots, but if she is not in a place to be a great g/f to you, now this is your chance to find someone who can be. And it is possible to be just friends.

She just wants to be friends means you don't even stand a chance but she is trying to be nice.
While she is blah blah blahing about how she just wants to be friends, think about where you are going to go out tonight or start paging through your address book while she is talking.

Accept it and move on. Never lower your standards to being with someone that doesn't want to be with you. Think highly of yourself and know you are a great catch, if not for her then possibly for the next one. Stand tall.

Respect their wishes. Don't throw a hissy fit about it, but talk with them about it. If you're understanding and are appreciative of the time that ya'll spent together she might hook you up with one of her hot friends that might have a crush on you, but you haven't been single.

i just said that to my boyfriend.. i didnt mean it.. well i did.. but he showed me somehow why i liked him so much.. and now i love him more then ever.. what u can dois jsut tell her that u want to try it again adn that u love her and etc. OR you can like find out the real reason she wants to just give up and stuff? or you can do it the hard way and just end it and then try to get her back..
