Well, it is harder to hit two home runs than one, which is what a grand slam is.

Maybe you should have asked which is rarer.

I will say hitting 2 HR's is harder. A grand slam is basically good timing and a little luck -- the hitter needs those before him to all be on base for him. So it's still only one HR, even though it's a GS. 2 HR's are harder than one anytime.

Well its probably harder for the batter to hit 2 home runs but in order to hit a grand slam there has to be runners on all bases and they all have to get home. So hitting a grand slam is just a luck of the draw. Most batters dont even get the opportunity to do so every game.

I think it is harder to hit 2 HRs than it would be to hit one so if you could come up with the bases loaded the G-slam might be easier.

Probably hitting a grand slam. The opportunity to hit a grand slam doesn't come around as much as hitting 2 HR's.

I'm not sure what's harder, but I'm guessing that statistically, 2 hrs in one game (by the same player) happens more frequently than a grand slam.

Well you really have no control over hitting a GS because your teammates have to get on base first, so both are pretty tough, but I think it's harder to hit a GS because there are not as many chances.

Well its harder to hit 2 hrs in a game but grandslams are rarer ofcourse because bases loaded opportunities dont come by like dat.

Since a grand slam would require three player to reach base prior to the third out and you receiving a ball that clears the park and the chance of you hitting two out of the park with no one on base. I say the grand slam

2 HRs is harder because you have to have enough power to get 2 solid hits on the ball in 1 game, a grand slam is easier but less common because its not all in your control, your teamates have to get on base which isnt in your control
