Have you noticed your business is off this year,as oppose to last year?Your business could be anything.Mine is manufacturing soft goods and sporting goods.Let me know if the demand for your goods,or whatever you might do,is off.Percentages are welcomed.

Mine is just slow this summer, I guess because everyone is out of town on vacation or they only go somewhere when the absolutely have to because of gas. A lot of other business owners have told me their business has been slow this summer. Summer is always a slow time where I live.

Business is better, but net income is down. Taxes and insurance have gone up tremendously in the last 5 years.

Not here. I started my business in Aug of 05 and it's only went uphill since then. But since I was a marketing major, I tend to follow my own advice!

You are correct !

I traced it back to more and more Imports from China.

Time for all of us to consider a business that can not be affected
by China.
Examples:
Auto Repair
Plumbing
Restaurant
Pool service
Carpet cleaning
Etc.

No one is going to send their car to China for repair,if you get my
meaning.

Business is off this year while expenses are up. Controlling cash flow is of the utmost importance.

My main business is IT Consulting.
