Most of the time she's the one looking at me, but when I do have an opportunity, it's like I see her resting. She works so hard to keep the house together. Not every man can learn to appreciate or take on the responsibilities that our lovely counterparts handle so very well. The house would fall apart if it wasn't for the dedication she willingly and lovingly provides. When I am fortunate to see her sleep, I sometimes wonder what she sees in me that has kept her around, and do I really deserve her. I don't make much $, but I wish I could provide for her every need to reciprocate in some fraction the love and appreciation I have for her. I try to smile, but sometimes my vision gets blurred. :-(

Yes i have. I do that quite often. I actually look at my sleeping hubby and think to myself how lucky i am to have him in my life. He works so hard, and is such a great provider. He always does his absolute best to keep our marriage going smoothly. I thank God that i found such a giving, caring, loving, nurturing, and understand husband. I know that when i look at him, i could never find someone that i could feel that way about. i love him with all my heart, and i love to watch him sleep, because i know that when he is asleep, he is getting a chance to take a break from his busy schedule, and it makes me feel good that i can look at him and ONLY think THANKFUL thoughts. This is what life is all about....love and LOVE. Thanks for asking this question, im glad i got to answer it. :-)

i smile because there is a sense of peace at that particular moment. i look and think back at certain moments in our life (13 yrs.) i usually end up stroking his cheek and watch him smile a little. he's the biggest jerk sometimes, but the good outweighs the bad times, and lying next to him, listening to his heart and seeing him so content makes me smile.

Isn't it interesting that of the 17 answers you got before me, only one was from a man? Does that mean only 6% of the people with sleeping disorder are men? I don't think so. What do you think it means?

I stare at my guy all the time while he is sleeping. There isn't one specific thing I'm thinking of, just he is so calm, so sweet looking and everytime I look at him I know over and over he's the perfect man for me and that I love him more each day.
