Well...I don't normally tell this...but...

When I was four years old, I knew a kid in my neighborhood who had a ghost in his house...and she was watching him. (Yeah...the ghost was a woman) He didn't know why, but every night he would awaken to find the spectre peering down at him, waiting and watching with great interest. And each night, the leering grin on the cadaverous visage of spiritus would grow wider and clearer.

The kid was reduced to nothing eventually. Without sleep and unable to eat he began to wither away. He shrank down so much, he looked like somebody had washed him in hot water. Soon, he stopped coming to kindergarten and then...poof. Gone, like he'd never existed. The family, distraught over his disappearance and beginning to feel the opressiveness of the house sold out and moved away where no one knew them or would ever find them. The house still sits ther vacant today, unlivable, untenable, and unkept. Every window is blown out, the vines have taken over the entire house and the kids in the neighborhood tell stories about the creepy old lady and the skinny kid that haunt the house down the road.
