The last couple weeks when I have sex with my wife, at the point of orgasm (or a little bit right before) I get these really intense headaches. Feels like someone has hit me in the back of the head with a hammer. I tried to masturbate, but the headaches still happens but on a smaller scale. These headaches can last anywhere from 10 minutes or so, up to a couple of days. I am a 31 year old male, average shape. I have never had anything happen like this before about 2 weeks ago.

Try taking aspirin like fifteen minutes before sex or masturbating. See if that helps. You can also type in your local hospitals go to there site and see if they have nurses on there that answer medical questions for people. If so tell them all your symptoms and when they happen and for how long. They will be able to answer your questions. Mostly, but sometimes they will just tell you to see a doctor when you can. I have used that acouple of times. Good Luck.

In a issue of Cosmo it stated that not enough foreplay and just rushing into things can cause a headache after sex. I too get headaches after sex and only when I orgasm. Slow things down a bit and take some tylenol before you get busy. If that doesn'e help you should seek help of your dr. I asked my dr about this issue and she said it was right. Slow down, relax and don't forget your Tylenol. LOL GOOD LUCK,

It could be related to hypertension (high blood pressure) which is known as the silent killer as many times people arent even aware they have it. I know of someone, at 42 year old male that died from it recently. Make a doctor's appointment ASAP---better safe than sorry.

See a doctor. It could be some form of migraine triggered by a sudden rise in blood circulation.
