For me Concrete Blonde in 2002 in Washington DC meant the most, but Rammstein in London last year was the best show. How about you?

The Rolling Stones in 1993. It was their "Voodoo Lounge" tour, and I saw it at the Cotton Bowl in Texas. I kind of liked the Stones until I saw them, then I realized that they were the greatest rock and roll band in the world. I saw them again on the "No Security" tour, and had to admit they are starting to slow down a bit, but who can blame them? A few others:

Farm Aid Five at Texas Stadium, 1991
AC/DC and Cinderella on Halloween night 1988 in Lubbock, Texas
Kiss in full makeup at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas 2003
Cheap Trick and Night Ranger in Amarillo, Texas in 1985 (that was my first concert)
And of course I've seen Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers five times at different venues across the country.

Now, I live in Las Vegas and have the opportunity to see many shows, but the good ones are pretty expensive, and I have to work when they come here. I love live concerts!

I thought the 1968 Jimi Hendrix concert in San Diego was pretty awsome, even though he only filled about one third of the old Balboa Stadium. But his 1969 concert at the Sports Aroma (Ooops... sorry... Sports Arena.... yeah... that's it.... Sports Arena) was a sell out, and very memorable.

I'll never forget the way he arrived at Balboa Stadium... he was driven to the stage in a big black cadillac limo. The limo sat there for a while, and then drove away... leaving a giant puddle of oil on the grass.

So far blink-182 in Chicago on the 4th of July is the best show I've been to. I'm going to see the Counting Crows and Goo Goo Dolls next month. I think that will take over for my best show. I hope I'm right!

Private showing with Seether and Crossfade was the most memorable, but Greenday at SBC put on a great show. They don't need the lights, fireworks or pyrotechnics to keep you entertained. Thats what an artist really does.

I have only seen a few bands live in my life, but I will say that Meatloaf put on a great show. When you think about his age, I could not believe how great he could sing.

Yep, I am an oldie, but I would live to see the
Counting Crows live someday.
